Together, they aim to promote the widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) across various housing developments, contributing significantly to the nation's efforts in embracing eco-friendly practices.

Recognising the growing demand for EV vehicles in Malaysia, Sime Darby Beyond Auto has recently introduced the new hatchback model, BYD Dolphin, at an unbeatable starting price of RM99,900. This further reinforces their dedication to offering a diverse range of EV vehicles that are accessible to all Malaysians, making sustainable mobility a reality for the wider population.

Sime Darby Beyond Auto's remarkable achievement in driving EV adoption is evident through the impressive 1,000 bookings secured within just 10 days of its December 8, 2022, launch. This success is backed by the comprehensive aftersales services, including customer care, advanced service centers, body and paint services, as well as parts distribution, all designed to ensure a worry-free ownership experience for EV owners. Additionally, to ensure that Sime Darby Beyond Auto is well-equipped to serve the markets, SDBA has already appointed 14 BYD dealers and is planning to establish a total of 21 dealerships to further support EV adoption across Malaysia. In support of the EV initiative, Scientex plans to establish EV charging stations at selected locations within its nationwide housing developments. The collaboration between Sime Darby Beyond Auto and Scientex took a significant step forward with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to become preferred marketing campaign partners for Scientex's highly anticipated Mori Residences 2 condominium project in Rawang, Selangor. This exciting development embodies Scientex's commitment to promoting sustainability and mobility, as it adopts GreenRE criteria, featuring environmentally responsible design and EV charging stations conveniently accessible to the residents.
